Pre-processing is the conversion of diverse waste materials into a homogeneous mix with defined characteristics, making them suitable for co-processing in cement kilns. This ensures safe disposal while recovering energy and reducing the use of conventional fossil fuels.
At Green Fuel Waste Management (GFWM), we specialize in the pre-processing of both hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. The process involves careful segregation based on physical form, chemical properties, reactivity and compatibility. According to these parameters, wastes are scientifically blended to produce a uniform Alternate Fuel Resource (AFR) feed, which is then supplied for co-processing in cement kilns.
These “Waste to Fuel” products are used at Cement Kilns along with their Primary Fuel in 2:1 ratio. Traditionally, Coal is used as primary fuel. Apart from that, a wide range of other fuels, including natural gas, heavy fuel oil and petroleum coke, are also used at Cement Kilns. Through this method, we help industries achieve sustainable waste management, regulatory compliance and reduced environmental impact.
